The Content Acquisition Manager is responsible for securing strategic content partnerships with sports organizations and colleges to expand linear and streaming offerings. This includes leading negotiations for media rights, developing valuation models, and collaborating with internal teams to integrate new content.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in content acquisition, media rights, or collegiate athletics. Strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the sports media ecosystem are required.
The Content Acquisition Manager drives Midco Sports’ growth by securing strategic content partnerships for linear and streaming platforms. This role builds relationships with colleges, conferences, professional sports organizations, and major athletic events to expand live and on-demand content. Success requires confidence, knowledge of the sports industry, and proven experience in media rights and licensing to develop a strong, diverse content portfolio that attracts audiences and boosts revenue.

The hiring range for this position is $80,000-$105,000. The actual base salary offered will be determined based on multiple factors including internal equity, location, and the individual’s job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
