The mission of the Planning Department is to build the corporate sales and inventory plan to entrepreneurially and methodically drive the business.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Planning team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for developing sound product plans to maximize sales while minimizing risk. As the Senior Manager / Manager, Sales Planning you will support with enabling data-driven decision making for the Product Division. You will leverage historic and forward-looking insights from Aritzia and the industry, to inform sales targets and projections. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Product Division to enable data-driven decision making. You have a passion for product and numbers, combining the creative vision with the analytics. THE ROLE
As the Senior Manager/Manager, Sales Planning, you will lead the team to:
Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
Define and deliver Aritzia’s Merchandise Planning approach for forecasting sales.
Determine accurate seasonal and long-term sales targets & projections.
Manage seasonal projections, long-term forecasts, providing insights & analysis across various dimensions.
Own the long-term forecasts for product initiatives, partnering with the business to determine category opportunities.
Own cross-functional sales related forecasts driving decision-making on key investments.
Partner with the business to determine marketing and merchandising opportunities.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior Manager/Manager, Sales Planning, has:
Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience, including:
Experience in leading and managing a team.
Experience in the Retail industry, ideally in a Merchandise Planning function; vertical retail an asset.
A love for excel, working with data and producing insights to drive the business forward.
A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles.
The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes.
The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team.

THE COMPENSATION
At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.
The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $150,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
