Senior Fund Accountant
Livingston, NJ (Hybrid, three days onsite per week)
Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm
Some of the things you will be doing:
We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will manage multiple client deliverables ensuring superior client service. Deliverables include fund administration services provided to private equity funds such as:
Prepare and/or review financial statements and support schedules (GAAP and other basis)
Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and prepare and distribute letters
Prepare Investor allocations and Partner Capital Statements
Prepare and/or review a Waterfall
Investor and compliance reporting
Daily client interaction
Matrix reporting structure for client services
Internal responsibilities (status reports, time tracking, etc.)
Review processes and make recommendations on how they can become more efficient
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required (CPA preferred)
3+ years of experience in private equity, partnership, or fund accounting
Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and leading service delivery teams
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and private fund structures
Experience with SBA-regulated funds preferred
Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal, written, and executive-level communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, financial modeling techniques, and data analysis tools
At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000 to $92,000.
