Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
Lead localization projects across languages and various content types, including automated workflows between content management systems and translation providers, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness at every stage
Manage automated and human quality checks, coordinate with linguists, and apply corrective feedback to ensure translation accuracy, cultural relevance across all localized assets
Own ongoing curation of Translation Memory (TM), Glossary, and Style Guides as the foundational assets driving AI translation quality
Write, test, and refine locale-specific prompts for EU languages (DE, ES, FR, and others as scope expands)
Systematically incorporate regional reviewer feedback and field marketing preferences into prompt instructions to drive continuous improvement
Partner with localization vendors to drive quality outcomes while proactively identifying and addressing root causes of recurring issues
Drive geo-expansion initiatives, optimizing efficiency, quality, and cost as localization scope grows into new markets and languages
Collaborate with Web Operations, Field Marketing, Demand Generation, Strategy, and Product Marketing teams to align localization priorities with business goals
Track and report on localization project metrics, including turnaround times, quality scores, and cost efficiency, to inform data-driven decision-making, and develop and maintain comprehensive workflow documentation, prompt engineering guidelines, and process standards that enable team scalability
Optimize localization technologies and automation solutions, including Smartling and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and evaluate enhancements that strengthen workflow efficiency and output quality
Apply AI to improve localization workflows by identifying high-impact use cases, refining locale-specific prompts and terminology, and optimizing translation quality, speed, and scalability across multilingual content delivery
Be Prepared — What You Bring
5+ years of experience managing or leading end-to-end localization projects for a large, global organization, with the ability to independently own and execute workflows across multiple languages, asset types, and deadlines
Hands-on experience with Smartling, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), translation management systems (TMS), CAT tools, and automated translation workflows between content management systems and translation providers
Proven ability to own and refine Translation Memory (TM), Glossaries, and Style Guides by resolving TM inconsistencies, DNT mismatches, and glossary gaps, and write, test, and deploy locale-specific prompts
AI fluency, including identifying work best suited for AI, communicating effectively with AI systems, critically evaluating outputs, and ensuring responsible AI collaboration within continuous feedback loops
Solid understanding of HTML, web content structures, regex, and localization automation, with hands-on experience operating in CMS-driven web environments
Strong background in scope analysis, scheduling, and task tracking, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business goals while balancing precision with a big-picture perspective
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present localization quality findings, workflow updates, and actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, web, and product teams to align localization efforts with broader business objectives
Proven ability to establish productive, trust-based relationships with vendor linguists and external teams, ensuring correct workflows are applied and feedback is delivered clearly and consistently
Native-level fluency in one or more languages in addition to English (German, Spanish, or French desired); ability to work with minimal direction, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work independently

One Year:
Demonstrate measurable improvement in localization workflows through automation, TM refinement, prompt optimization where useful, and proactive QA intervention
