The Mortgage Sales Manager oversees the success of first mortgage originations and manages the administration of department policies and processes. They are responsible for recruiting, training, and leading Mortgage Loan Originators to achieve production goals while ensuring a positive member experience.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of commensurate work experience, including 1 year of management and 3-5 years in the financial industry. Eligibility to register as a Mortgage Loan Originator under the S.A.F.E. Act is required.
STATUS: Full time / Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Director, Real Estate Lending
COMPENSATION: The base salary for this position is $75,000 plus commission and bonus. The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week
SCHEDULE: The expected schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM.
The Mortgage Sales Manager is responsible for the overall success of First Mortgage originations at the credit union, including the administration, coordination and evaluation of the Mortgage Department policies, procedures, and processes. The Mortgage Sales Manager will lead the member experience effort in overall support of mortgage sales and collaboration with mortgage operations and other Summit Team Members.
