Job Description Summary
The Senior Treasury Management Sales Team Leader is a sales leadership role responsible for driving growth, profitability, and market penetration within the Family Office and Wealth Management segments. This individual will serve as a player-coach, maintaining direct business development and client relationship responsibilities while leading and developing a small team of Treasury Management professionals. The successful candidate will have responsibility for helping to scale and build the team as the business grows.
The role will be accountable for originating new Treasury Management relationships, deepening existing client engagements, building referral networks, collaborating with Wealth Management and Financial Advisor partners, and developing vertical-specific strategies that enhance client acquisition, retention, and deposit growth. The successful candidate will have direct coverage experience with Family Offices and/or Wealth Management advisors, as well as a developed COI network in the space. This position reports directly to the EVP and Head of Treasury Management Sales and Strategy.
Job Description
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Sales Experience
Demonstrates mastery level proficiency in all Depository and Treasury Management products
Participates in joint and independent sales calling efforts for the Treasury Management Sales Team in order to recommend additional solutions and cross-sell products
Consults with existing and prospective deposit centric clients, by phone and in person, to learn their business & industry trends
Assists in developing sales processes, procedures, and departmental goals and initiating strategies that will improve team results
Product Marketing
Oversees all Marketing collateral as it relates to depository and Treasury Management products
Provides education and knowledge of products to internal partners and to existing and prospective clients
Product Management
Provides technical support for complex Deposit and Treasury Management sales calling efforts
Effectively manages operational risk and compliance
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Facilitating new processes, tools, communications and training to ensure the bank’s success
Acting as a brand ambassador for TriState with every prospect
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, business development, deposit centric industries sales or treasury management sales experience
Experience working with Family Offices, Wealth Management firms, RIAs, Trust Companies, Private Banks, or related client segments.
Exceptional planning, time management, and organization skills
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Demonstrated ability to work independently and build relationships
Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced work environment and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
Education
Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Marketing
Work Experience
General Experience – 10 to 15 years, Manager Experience - 6 to 10 years
