The Principal Mechanical Estimator directs the preparation of complex cost estimates and leads pre-construction activities including scope reviews and risk assessments. They are responsible for supervising staff, maintaining estimating databases, and providing technical advice to project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidates must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in construction estimating and demonstrated leadership capabilities. A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred, along with field and project experience.

The Principal Mechanical Estimator directs and oversees the preparation of lump sum, unit rate, and cost-plus estimates, from preliminary cost analysis through detailed definitive estimates, supporting proposals, project controls, and change order management.
Leads pre-construction activities and coordinates estimating efforts across project phases.
