Position Summary
Therapist's provide trauma-informed individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents receiving residential and/or acute services. This role partners with hospitals, schools, community mental health providers, families, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive treatment plans that support healing, stability, and long-term success.
Our therapists play a vital role in helping young people overcome trauma while strengthening family connections and improving outcomes throughout the community.
What You'll Do
Provide individual, family, and group therapy using trauma-informed practices.
Complete comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and clinical documentation.
Participate as an active member of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Collaborate with hospitals, schools, community agencies, managed care organizations, and families to coordinate care.
Provide crisis intervention utilizing approved clinical tools and best practices.
Facilitate treatment review meetings with guardians and community partners.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards.
Participate in utilization review and insurance reporting as needed.
Remain available for assigned on-call responsibilities.
Maintain compliance with all state, federal, accreditation, and organizational requirements.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and adolescents.
Minimum Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution
Licensed to practice in the state(s) where services are provided
Minimum of one year of supervised experience providing therapy to children and/or adolescents
Coursework in child and adolescent development, individual counseling, family therapy, and group counseling
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
