Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full sales cycle for new business, from prospecting through to close.

• Plan and execute the outbound strategy for the region. This responsibility sits with the hunter, not the BDR. The BDR supports the outbound process, but the hunter cannot be dependent on the BDR and owns the outcome. If outbound is not performing, including because the BDR is not performing, the hunter is not performing.

• Build and work a strategic portfolio of target institutions and decision makers, using calls, email, social outreach, and in person contact to consistently generate qualified opportunities and a strong pipeline.

• Be on the ground. Prioritise in person meetings with senior decision makers and show up where the market is.

• Achieve monthly closing quotas, together with the monthly activity targets that drive them (meetings, calls, and referrals).

• Forecast revenue accurately and keep CRM records up to date.

• Represent GRI credibly with senior institutional buyers and protect the quality and trust that define the network.

Skills and experience

• New business sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a closing role (mid to senior level).

• Proven B2B sales, with a solid track record of meeting quota and generating referrals.

• Hands on experience owning and executing outbound, including cold calling and cold emailing, with a proven record of initiating contact with potential clients. Not a role that only receives leads.

• Demonstrated ability in lead generation and pipeline building, identifying and developing new opportunities independently.

• Fluent English. A relevant local language is an advantage.
