The Concurrent Review Nurse performs utilization management activities to ensure medical services are delivered effectively and appropriately. This involves reviewing inpatient admissions and hospital stays against clinical guidelines to determine medical necessity and coordinate discharge planning.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with an active license and at least 2 years of clinical experience. Proficiency in InterQual or MCG guidelines and familiarity with insurance regulations are highly preferred.
