Your tasks

• Performs, supervises and ensures the high accuracy and timely fulfilling of complex processes for Stock Accounting activities according to allocated tasks, without guidance and monitoring for daily activity by TL/DM, respecting the principles and rules in place.
• Performs (ad-hoc) analyses & statistics, prepares monthly reporting packages as well as reporting financial data based on specific requests e.g. ensures delivery of reports and documents required by internal and external audit and performs ICS (internal control system) checks.
• Performs complex Stock Accounting processes involving compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data without guidance and monitoring for daily activity, monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities with necessary adjustments and for project activities, respecting the principles and rules in place.
• Perform accurate recording, valuation, and reconciliation of inventory balances in SAP according to accounting rules and ensure highly complex documents processing with quality and according to deadlines (all types of inventory movements, including material receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments).
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative inventory analyses, including variance identification and root-cause investigation
• Discuss and align with the internal stakeholders the finance discipline topics related to daily business, correlating business processes with the accounting ones.
• Identify and implement measures to improve the standardization, harmonization and automation of Stock Accounting processes for the customers served by OMV Group.
• Provide expertise and know-how for special tasks and projects and participate in OMV Group wide projects by being a main contact person for internal and external auditors

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Finance / Logistics
• Relevant professional experience: >7 years
• High knowledge and understanding about specific oil & gas business and its business requirements, focusing on stock accounting accounts (production, acquisition, consumption, sales, inventory stock taken, evaluation) as well as the related legislation.
• Very good knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Teams).
• Excellent knowledge and application of SAP transactions related to team activity and general knowledge of SAP transactions applicable on department level.
• Very good knowledge and understanding of related legislations/norms, internal rules/guidelines, in multiple areas/team level.
• Experience in working in a shared services organisation represents an advantage.
• Good knowledge in the financial-accounting field, applicable in the oil and gas sector. 
• English language skills - advanced level.
