What You’ll do:

• Ensuring compliance of the Bank's activity with the legislation in force, the normative acts of the BNR, as well as the internal policies and procedures of the Bank;

• Identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of compliance risk to the Bank's Management.

• Drawing up and updating internal regulations for the specific area of activity,

• Carrying out monitoring and control activities on general compliance aspects,

• Identifying, evaluating, monitoring and reporting the compliance risks associated with the bank's activities;

• Evaluating new products and services from the perspective of compliance risk before presenting them for approval;

• The development of training materials adapted to the requests of internal clients and the related test grids;

• Monitoring at the bank level the observance of the principles of avoiding conflicts of interest;

• Approving internal regulations, as well as changes and/or additions to the bank's internal rules to ensure compliance with the legal and regulatory framework related to banking activities;

• Elaboration and implementation of the annual compliance program;

• Monitoring new legislative developments in the banking field;

• Support in communication with regulatory authorities.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Completed university studies, preferably legal/economic profile;

• Experience in the banking field is an advantage - in the fields of compliance, legal, audit;

• Knowledge of banking activities and practices, applicable legislation and professional banking standards;

• Material drafting skills - conception, synthesis and correlation of relevant information and their presentation in a structured way;

• English speaker with oral and written communication skills;

• Attention to details;

• Excellent relationship and communication skills;

• Ability to collaborate in a team;

• Organized threads;

• Skills for managing priorities and deadlines
