The Donor Engagement Specialist creates and manages donor strategies focusing on industry and foundation partnerships. Key duties include writing grant proposals, managing donor communications, and cultivating relationships to meet donation KPIs.
Candidates should have at least three years of experience in non-profit fundraising or sales, with a proven track record in state and federal grant proposals. Proficiency in Donor Perfect and Microsoft 365 is preferred, along with strong communication and presentation skills.

Explore The Trades, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is part of the national conversation to bring the skilled trades back into schools. Through classroom resource and equipment grant programs for K-12 schools now impacting over 1+ million students, Explore The Trades promotes the awareness and importance of skilled trades careers. Explore The Trades is also a resource for contractors, distributors, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry vendors looking to partner with schools in their communities.
The Big Picture
The Donor Engagement Specialist will create and manage a donor engagement strategy for Explore The Trades, specifically with industry and foundation partner relationships. The position will work in partnership with the Executive Director, Explore The Trades staff, and Board of Trustees (as applicable).
