The Position
As a manager in RSM’s growing Healthcare Risk Consulting Practice, you will have the opportunity to draw from your healthcare experience and knowledge while continuing to grow your leadership skills through a high degree of client and industry exposure, career development and mentorship opportunities, and a diverse and inclusive culture. We frequently work as or alongside a client’s internal audit and compliance function, the chief risk officer or risk function, and various other members of management tasked with managing risk. Our advisors help our clients with identifying and prioritizing the industries emerging and complex risk and leveraging process and controls to reduce risk exposure.
RSM’s Healthcare Risk Consulting Group performs process improvement projects, internal audits and risk assessments intended to provide our clients with meaningful information on operations and methods to mitigate potential risks across Clinical, Financial, Operational, IT and Regulatory risk domains.

Own management level relationships, and interact with C-suite group. Drive collaboration with external stakeholders
Lead risk assessment management interviews and development of internal audit plan or compliance program
Perform review of the deliverables including process narratives/flowcharts, risks and control gaps, suggested remediation and process improvement
Lead formal closing meetings with clients to share and confirm deliverables
Maintain overall responsibility for engagement economics and manage expectations around billing, monitoring, and collections
Demonstrate effective delegation strategies by managing multiple clients, projects, and teams simultaneously with the goal of overseeing a book of business

Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business, accounting or related discipline, with preference for Masters Health Administration (MHA) / Masters Public Health (MPH)
Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare internal audit, regulatory compliance, ERM or related internal control positions
Experience leading project based work with milestones and workflow driven by objectives and defined timelines
Proficiency in professional writing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools
Job relevant certification
Ability to travel to meet client needs and work collaboratively with others in-person and remotely
Openness to workday flexibility, agility, remote work environment, leveraging new tools
Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Established experience in multiple industries or subject-matter expertise in one specific industry

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $101,000 - $203,000
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
