Provide intentional peer support to families, carers, and supporters of consumers within the Hawthorn Mental Health Program. This includes offering 1:1 support, facilitating carer groups, and collaborating with treating clinical teams.
Must have lived experience of caring for someone with a mental illness and completed intentional peer support and supervision training. A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is also required.
About the Role
Full time permanent position; or part time 1 day per fortnight available - please indicate which role you are applying for as part of your application
As a senior Carer Peer support worker you will be providing intentional peer support for families, carers and supporters of consumers who access the Hawthorn Mental Health Program.
Classifications for this position will range from AK47 - AK50 ($90,880 - $101,233 per annum pro rata).
