The CSSD Aide/Technician is responsible for the collection, cleaning, packaging, and sterilisation of medical equipment. They must also ensure accurate documentation and compliance with industry standards and testing requirements.
Candidates should have previous experience in a sterilising unit and possess or be willing to obtain a Certificate III in Sterilising Services. Knowledge of AS4187 standards and strong interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
About the role
Located at Calvary John James Hospital the CSSD Aide/Technician ensures sterilised medical equipment is available for use in all relevant areas where reusable medical devices are utilised.
