About the role
We are hiring enthusiastic and flexible Registered Nurses for our busy medical/surgical ward at Calvary Central Districts Hospital. The ward consists of medical and surgical patients, a 4 bed Higher Observation Unit, and 5 supportive care beds.
Providing direct patient care, in collaboration with the wider healthcare team, you will participate in the delivery of exceptional nursing care to our patients.
Use a patient centered approach to patient assessment.
Maintain continuity of care for each patient.
Evaluate outcomes of care and initiate appropriate follow-up.
Maintain a discharge plan for each patient from admission to discharge.
Uphold the principles and practices of infection prevention and control.
Ensuring familiarity in Emergency Procedures through annual updates.
Maintain annual competencies
Practice in accordance with Calvary policies and procedures
About you
Registered Nurse with the AHPRA with minimum of 2 years acute experience
Effective communication & interpersonal skills
Demonstrated competence in surgical and medical nursing
Passion for exceptional patient care
