The Patient Care Technician is responsible for performing clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, phlebotomy, and point of care testing while assisting providers with exams. They also manage reception duties, including patient registration, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate medical records in the EMR system.
Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or equivalent education and possess a High School Diploma or GED. Proficiency in computer systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain CPR certification are required.
