The Program Director for Solid Tumor Research Nursing is a credentialed individual responsible for daily operations of all solid tumor research nursing teams and related clinical services for the Tisch Cancer Center of the Mount Sinai Health System. This person must have expert knowledge of cancer as a disease process, cancer treatment modalities, and the process of conducting clinical research. She/he is responsible for clinical operations and integrity, compliance, and knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and institutional policies and procedures. She/he is also expected to function as a research NP in her/his designated disease area. This position administratively reports to the Senior Director for Cancer Clinical Research and clinically reports to the Associate Director of Clinical Research Operations.
