The fellow will work collaboratively with urgent care teams to examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with acute illnesses or injuries. Responsibilities also include ordering evidence-based testing, prescribing medications, and performing occupational medicine services.
Candidates must have successfully completed an accredited PA or FNP program and hold active board certification (NCCPA for PAs, AANP or ANCC for FNPs). Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice is required.

Program Overview:
The Urgent Care Fellowship program is a minimum 9-month continuing specialty rotation that will provide enhanced clinical experience in the field of Urgent Care Medicine. The Fellow will have one on one preceptorship with the Urgent Care Clinical Faculty, will learn through hands on care of patients and receive ongoing lectures, guided by the provided didactic curriculum.

The goals and objectives of the urgent care fellowship program is to train fellows to
become proficient in the WellNow core competencies and position them for success in a fast-paced Urgent Care environment.
