Personalcare Registered Professional Nursing P.C. is looking for dedicated and hard-working Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work full-time on the day shift/evening shift in the medical department at the Jefferson County Jail located in Watertown, NY. Nurses are involved in healthcare emergencies, physical health assessments, initial screenings, medication distribution, nurse sick call, and chronic care clinics. Nurses will also provide assistance to physicians, psychiatrists and dentists.
Available Shifts: FT Day (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)/FT Eve (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
The Licensed Practical Nurse will primarily be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care while ensuring the proper flow of relevant information is disseminated to appropriate personnel. In addition, the Licensed Practical Nurse will also maintain, update and work with electronic medical records and ensure that they are secure. Other responsibilities will include:
