The sonographer will perform pelvic, abdominal, and transvaginal ultrasounds for OB/GYN patients while collaborating with referring physicians. They are also responsible for coordinating care within the Women's Health department and maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.
Candidates must be ARDMS certified in OB/GYN and hold a New York State certification. A minimum of 2 years of recent OB/GYN experience is required for this position.

Led by experienced obstetricians/gynecologists and supported by Physcians Assistants, nurses, and specialists in areas such as mental health, nutrition, and genetics, our team offers a wide range of services. Position Overview:
Pelvic/Abdominal and Transvaginal Ultrasounds: Provide pelvic/abdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds for our OB/GYN patients.
Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate and share reports with referring physicians.
Care Coordination: Assist in the coordination of care within the Women’s Health department and other departments as needed.
HIPAA Compliance: Strictly adhere to HIPAA standards and regulations in managing or handling any patient information or patient inquiries.
Miscellaneous Tasks: Effectively perform a variety of other assignments and projects as may be required.
Pay and Benefits:
This role requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, and assisting patients with positioning during ultrasound examinations. The employee may be required to move ultrasound equipment and occasionally assist patients with transfers or repositioning, with or without reasonable accommodation.
