Delivers advanced professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team and assists physicians during treatments while supervising support staff.
Requires a graduate degree from an approved nursing program and a valid Florida RN license. Candidates must hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with one year of acute care experience preferred.

Nursing care delivered complies with objectives and policies of the hospital. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation when delivering nursing care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team member to provide age/ developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. Performs nursing techniques for the comforts and well-being of the patient. Prepares equipment and assists physician during treatments and examinations of patients. Assists in planning, supervising, and instructing Licensed Practical Nurses, and E.D. Techs, thereby providing care to a number of patients.
Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)
1-year Acute Care Experience Preferred
Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language
Florida RN License
BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association
