The Cardiac Anesthesiologist is responsible for performing pre-operative evaluations and administering anesthesia for various surgical and procedural cases. They must monitor patients throughout procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure safe perioperative care.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, have completed an anesthesiology residency and cardiac anesthesia fellowship, and be board certified or eligible. A minimum of 3 years of experience and the ability to perform and interpret TEE are required.
