About the role
As a Producer, Programming, you will lead the planning, development and delivery of Arts Centre Melbourne's diverse performances, events and creative programs. Working collaboratively with artists, presenters, producers and internal teams, you will manage projects from concept through to delivery, overseeing budgets, contracts, logistics, ticketing and marketing activities. You will build strong relationships across the performing arts sector while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest artistic and operational standards.

Skills and requirements
Qualification in arts, event management or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Experience producing complex performing arts events
Strong project management and organisational skills
Experience managing event budgets and resources
Experience negotiating artist and presenter contracts
Knowledge of the performing arts industry and programming
Experience working with artists and creative stakeholders
Understanding of ticketing, marketing and audience development
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High-level problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
Understanding of accessibility, child safety and licensing requirements
Experience with Ungerboeck, Tessitura and Microsoft Office (desirable)
The Programming team develops and delivers Arts Centre Melbourne's dynamic program of performances, festivals, education initiatives, community engagement activities and public events. Bringing together expertise in programming, producing, project management and creative engagement, the team works closely with artists, resident companies and industry partners to create inspiring experiences that enrich Victoria's cultural life and connect diverse audiences with the performing arts.
