Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the ticketing services team to ensure efficient day-to-day operational delivery. Focus on providing high-level customer service and managing the patron experience before, during, and after visits.

Requirements

Requires substantial experience in event ticketing customer service and proven leadership skills in a service environment. Proficiency in financial reconciliation, conflict resolution, and ideally experience with Tessitura software is expected.

About the Role

The Duty Manager, Ticketing Systems will ensure the successful operational delivery of day-to-day ticketing services. In this role, you’ll support and lead the Assistant, Ticketing services team towards always providing a high level of efficiency and customer service.

Variable Time position (22.5 hours per week) fixed term to 11 July 2027. Salary band 3.1 $78,894 per annum (pro rata) plus superannuation.

About you

We’re seeking a confident, enthusiastic and passionate leader dedicated to making every customer experience remarkable. You align with our values and are genuine when interacting with people. If you have proven experience in delivering excellent customer service for event ticketing, we want to hear from you!

Due to the scheduling of live performances and to support the 7-day Ticketing Services operations, the rostering of hours and days of work for this role will vary each week.

Your Skills and Experience (selection criteria)

  • Substantial experience in delivering customer service for event ticketing
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively leading and improving the performance of a team in a customer service environment
  • Moderate experience in financial reconciliation
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution and creative problem solving – a high capacity to solve customer complaints
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Experience in the use of Tessitura will be highly regarded

The Ticketing Services team sits within the Destination and Audiences pillar and is responsible for proactively delivering personalised ticketing and customer services of value to our patrons that create the ultimate experience before, during and after each visit.
