We are currently seeking an experienced SeniorStructural Engineer to join our growing team in NYC.
Position Overview
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, design, and execution of roadway and highway projects. This position involves design leadership, technical oversight, construction-phase services, and client interaction, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Roadway & Highway Design: Develop design solutions for DOT roadway and highway infrastructure projects.
4–8+ years of civil engineering experience, including 4+ years in roadway/highway design
Strong knowledge of DOT standards, practices, and transportation design criteria
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads Designer, HydroCAD/StormCAD, and related civil design software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction documentation tools
OSHA 10-Hour Certification preferred
Ability to conduct site visits and field inspections in varying weather conditions.

Experience with DOT transportation infrastructure projects
Knowledge of hydrology, drainage, and stormwater management systems
Familiarity with design-build and conventional project delivery methods
