The Associate Dean provides executive leadership for regional partnership strategies to strengthen the healthcare workforce across California's Central Coast. This includes developing educational pathways, managing employer engagement, and leading externally funded projects to advance the College's mission.
A Master's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is required, along with at least seven years of progressive leadership experience. A terminal degree and experience in healthcare or higher education executive leadership are preferred.
Description
The Associate Dean for Strategic Partnerships and Healthcare Workforce Development serves as a senior member of the College for Healthy Communities leadership team and provides executive leadership for the College’s regional partnership strategy across California’s Central Coast. Working collaboratively with academic leaders and external partners, the Associate Dean leads implementation of the CHC Regional Healthcare Education and Workforce Partnership Framework by developing strategic partnerships, educational pathways, workforce collaborations, employer engagement initiatives, and externally funded projects that strengthen the regional healthcare workforce while advancing the College’s educational mission. The Associate Dean collaborates with, but does not supervise, academic programs or admissions.
