We are seeking an experienced culinary supervisor to join the team at Gil’s at Proof- Dallas. The Culinary Supervisor will assist the Executive Chef as a point person of leadership to the culinary and POP team. We are seeking an experienced Culinary Supervisor to join the team. This position will be a lead in the back of house overseeing daily prep work, food production, and event execution.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, ability, physical demands, and work environment associated with this position and are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Assist in the oversight of day-to-day culinary operations for Gil’s events as scheduled. Assist with the coordinating of food and kitchenware orders. Assist with inventory and organization of storage areas and oversee checking in and putting away food orders. Assist in the development of menu items and game-day packages. Be an onsite supervisor during food service times. Managing time effectively to ensure all BEO/menu items are completed prior to service times and according to recipe guidelines. Managing the team that is scheduled in the kitchen or pantry areas. Assist with on-the-job training of new employees ensuring all staff are set up for success. Attending and executing each assigned event to ensure that it runs smoothly from the set-up to the break-down. Assisting in post-event tasks including inputting payroll and inventory as directed.
Performs other related duties as required.QualificationsEducation and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred 2+ years of experience in a lead culinary role with experience in catering or high volume. Experience in a stadium setting is preferred. Ability to produce menu items consistently and in high volume. Leadership qualities with a focus on team development ServSafe certified or is available to receive training.

Attention to detail to ensure all ordered items are correct and following company policies, including health guidelines. Work Environment
The work environment for this position will work out of and report to the Georgia International Convention Center. Events may be indoors, outdoors, or in temporary structures. This position will be in and out of kitchen spaces utilizing typical kitchen equipment including ovens, stovetops, tilt skillets, knives, griddles, freezers, etc.
