Entity: KBRA Analytics, LLC
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: New York, NY
Summary/Overview:
KBRA DLD is seeking a highly motivated Credit Markets Analyst to join our growing team in New York. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and eager to build expertise in the private credit and leveraged finance markets.
You will play an integral role in monitoring corporate default activity and maintaining market-leading credit indices relied upon by investors across the industry. You’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of corporate defaults and credit markets, while working alongside experienced professionals.
This role follows a cyclical workload, with busier periods around quarter-end and index rebalancing. We’re looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, enjoys continuous learning, and values being part of a collaborative, high-performing team.
About the Job:
Monitor and analyze corporate default events across global credit markets.
Track, gather, and review issuer and transaction information from public filings, news sources, and market participants.
Maintain and update proprietary credit market indices with accuracy and timeliness.
Support routine index maintenance, constituent reviews, and periodic rebalancing activities.
Prepare reports, summaries, and supporting materials related to default activity.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure the integrity of market data.
Communicate findings clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders and clients as needed.
Contribute to process improvements and the ongoing development of our market-leading products
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
Strong interest in credit markets, leveraged finance, and private credit.
Experience using the Bloomberg Terminal.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Comfortable working with large datasets and market information.
Professional presence with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.
What We Offer
Meaningful responsibility from day one, with the chance to make a direct impact on products used by leading institutional investors worldwide.
A supportive, collaborative, and flexible culture that is often difficult to find at traditional Wall Street firms.
Exposure to a market-leading product that is considered the gold standard by private credit investors and market participants.
Significant opportunities for professional development and career advancement as the business continues to grow.
The opportunity to work alongside industry-leading experts in private credit and leveraged finance.
If you have a strong interest in financial markets, enjoy analytical problem-solving, and are looking to build a long-term career in credit, we’d love to hear from you.
