The Designer will provide design services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects and support project managers in delivering projects to meet client requirements. They will also provide services during construction and mentor junior team members.
Candidates must have a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and at least 5 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater design. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and a client-focused approach are essential.

Provide design services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including open-cut, trenchless and rehabilitation projects including engineering drawings, engineering reports, presentations, and required applications to regulatory and/or funding agencies.
Support project managers and work with the project design team to deliver projects (Environmental Assessment Reports, Studies and Detailed Design) to meet client requirements.
Provide services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
Train and mentor junior team members. Lead by example to promote a high-performance team culture.
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
CET with OACETT, or eligible to register.
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in water and wastewater design of linear infrastructure within existing rights-of-way.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Engineering support during construction and Contract administration experience is considered an asset.
