Responsibilities
The Superintendent Processing will oversee mill production plans, plant performance, and maintenance projects while providing leadership to production and technical teams. They are responsible for fostering a safe, productive culture and acting as the alternate Processing Manager when required.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience leading processing teams in a metalliferous plant and hold a current C Class manual driver's license. A tertiary qualification in Metallurgy or a related discipline and an S26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate are highly desirable.

THE WESTGOLD OFFER
Full-time, permanent position based at our Tuckabianna Processing Plant near Cue.
Remuneration includes base salary + site allowance + wellbeing allowance + up to 20% STI bonus + Superannuation.
Based at our Tuckabianna site 8 days on & 6 days off roster – Monday to Monday

THE ROLE
Assist in development and implementation of mill production plans and targets.
Provide continuous monitoring and improvement of plant performance and reliability.
Drive business-critical processing, maintenance and metallurgy projects and initiatives.
Provide leadership of the production and technical teams, ensuring they have received clear directions regarding task scope, context, and purpose; and with clearly set expectations for work quality, quantity, results, and timing.
Develop, coach and mentor identified talent.
Play a key role as part of the management team in the implementation of a positive, safe, and productive culture in the workplace.
Be visible and provide mentoring and leadership to your teams.
Promote a high level of safety awareness, lead from the front and by example.
Provide ongoing coverage as the alternate Processing Manager during their absences from site.
Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholders as required.
WHAT DO I NEED
Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role effectively leading and managing a Processing team within a metalliferous processing plant (gold, nickel, copper, lithium)
Tertiary Qualification in Metallurgy, Processing, or related discipline (desirable)
Extensive experience in gold processing and preferably exposure to complex ore processing.
S26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate
Experience with SCADA systems (CITECT) and proprietary PLC systems (desirable)
Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)
Proficient Microsoft office skills
