The manager will oversee the delivery of the Environmental Management System and Sustainability Strategy across design and construction phases. They are responsible for setting governance, managing budgets, and leading a team of specialists to ensure project compliance and performance.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in environmental science or a related field and possess professional accreditation such as CEnvP or ISC. Experience in complex civil infrastructure projects and knowledge of the RMA and Fast-track Approvals Act are required.

About Opportunity
Reporting to the Project Director, the Environment & Sustainability Manager manages delivery of the Environmental Management System and Sustainability Strategy across design and construction. You will set governance, controls and performance reporting, embed requirements into delivery planning and commercial decisions, and direct the people, budgets and systems needed to meet compliance obligations and project commitments. You will manage a team of seven and represent the function to the client, regulators and ACCIONA.
