The Assistant Director of Equipment Operations manages the daily issuance, maintenance, and collection of athletic equipment and apparel for assigned sports. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supervising student managers in compliance with NCAA and university regulations.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of athletic administration and game management, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role requires availability to work nights and weekends for home games and special events.

Job Summary: Drake University is seeking an Assistant Director of Equipment Operations. This position will assist in all aspects of the day-to-day duties of the Knapp Center and Fieldhouse Equipment Rooms. The position will assist with the issuing, maintenance, repair and collection of athletic equipment and apparel for all sports. |

Minimum Qualifications: • Availability to work nights and weekends for Drake Athletics’ home games and special events. |
|
Job Duties: All of the duties described below require an understanding of and compliance with the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the Missouri Valley Conference, the Pioneer Football League, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, and/or the MAC, and Drake University.
