The Attendance Support Specialist monitors student attendance trends, manages truancy documentation, and conducts outreach to families to improve engagement. They also collaborate with school staff to implement intervention plans and represent the school in truancy-related legal matters.
Candidates must have at least two years of experience in K-12 truancy management and a Bachelor's degree. Proficiency in PowerSchool, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite is required, along with the ability to pass criminal background checks.

The Attendance Support Specialist manages the documentation of excused and planned absences, runs and reviews attendance and truancy reports, prepares truancy communications. This position represents the school if truancy cases go to court.
