The School Counselor provides proactive guidance, social-emotional learning, and academic programming to support student success. Key duties include maintaining transcripts, creating graduation and career plans, and managing Student 504 plans.
Candidates must hold a valid State Counselor license and a Bachelor's degree with at least one year of counseling experience. Proficiency in the ASCA model and experience with K-12 online learning are highly desired.

Jefferson Classical Academy of Florida is the state’s first tuition-free statewide classical school, serving students in grades K–8. Rooted in a time-honored curriculum of literature, history, and the arts, we partner with parents to cultivate wisdom, virtue, and clear thinking through a flexible virtual model.
We are seeking a highly qualified School Counselor who is dedicated to fostering the social, emotional, and academic development of every student! At ACCEL Schools, we leverage a cutting-edge 21st-century support framework, delivering comprehensive counseling services through innovative online platforms and traditional outreach methods to ensure no student navigates their journey alone.
The School Counselor supports overall student success by partnering with staff members and families to inform student specific academic programming, create and maintain graduation and career plans, and provide proactive and preventative services.
