Requirements
A minimum Grade 12 diploma is required, along with a Food Handler Training Program certificate or the willingness to obtain one within six months. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work flexibly within a team.

Position Summary:
Under direction of the Support Services Manager, the Dietary Aide performs a multitude of Food Services functions including assisting with meal and nourishment preparation, services of meals and nourishment to patients and staff, ware washing, cleaning and sanitizing duties and quality assurance activities.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Minimum Grade 12 diploma required.
Certificate in an Accredited Food Handler Training Program required; or be willing to attend Food Handler Training Program in the next (6) months of employment.
Experience:
Combination of education & experience may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Must be flexible and adapt easily to an ever-changing work environment.
Ability to communicate in more than one language an asset.
