This is more than a teaching role. You'll join a team leading the evolution of higher education through student-centred learning, AI-enabled teaching, digital innovation, and contemporary learning design.

This role has been created to strengthen Torrens University’s permanent academic workforce, supporting the delivery of flexible, high-quality, student-centred learning experiences across on-campus, online, hybrid and asynchronous learning environments, while enhancing student success and employability.
We're looking for educators who don't simply teach, they innovate. People who are excited by questions like:
• How can AI enhance learning?
• What does great online teaching look like?
• How can data and student feedback improve the learning experience?
• How do we prepare graduates for careers that don't yet exist?
About the role
As a Teaching Fellow, you'll join the School of Business, where you'll inspire and support the next generation of business professionals. You'll teach across our Diploma, Bachelor and Master's Business programs, delivering engaging and interactive learning experiences in areas focused on Management, Leadership, Strategy, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Entrepreneurship, Sport, Events and Project Management.
You'll combine outstanding teaching practice with digital capability, learning design and innovation to create learning experiences that are flexible, engaging and centred around student success.

Full-time permanent position located at either Flinders Street or Surry Hills Campuses.
What you'll bring
PhD (completed or in progress) is highly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in one or more core business disciplines, such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, Strategy or Economics, together with strong digital and analytical capabilities, including the application of AI and technology-enabled decision-making.
Current industry practice with the ability to integrate contemporary business, responsible and sustainable business principles (including ethics, ESG, and governance), and best-practice learning and teaching approaches into the student experience.
Strong facilitation skills across online and face-to-face learning environments in Higher Education
Experience using learning technologies and digital tools to enhance teaching
Confidence using, or enthusiasm for adopting, AI-enabled approaches in education
Experience designing engaging learning and assessment activities
A student-centred approach to teaching and learning
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A growth mindset and commitment to continuous professional learning
Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards completion)
