The Centre Director is responsible for leading the daily operations of the early learning service while driving occupancy growth and financial performance. They must also mentor the leadership team and ensure full compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant regulations.
Candidates must hold a Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care and possess a current Working with Children Check. Proven experience in leading a medium to large centre environment and strong knowledge of compliance and educational frameworks are required.

We’re seeking an experienced and inspiring Centre Director to guide and inspire the team to embed our Busy Bees philosophy and consistently deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity through to February 2027.
What you’ll do
Lead the day-to-day operations of a high-quality early learning service.
Drive occupancy growth and financial performance in line with budget targets.
Build, mentor and retain a high-performing leadership team.
Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and WA regulations.
Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, and educational excellence.
Develop strong partnerships with families and the local community.
Collaborate with your Area Director and support functions to achieve strategic goals.
Lead performance management, workforce planning and succession planning.
What you’ll bring
A genuine commitment to child safety and wellbeing, speaking up, always doing the right thing & alignment to our Busy Bee values.
Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved) and WWCC.
Current Working with Children Check for WA.
Proven experience leading a service, ideally within a medium to large centre environment.
Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), EYLF and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage occupancy, rosters and financial performance.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
