Ready to take your career global?
At Global Payments, we’re shaping the future of commerce. As a Strategy Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining how we grow, innovate, and deliver value for merchants around the world. From launching new products to developing transformative partnerships and identifying new market opportunities, your work will directly influence the future direction of our business.
You’ll join our Corporate Strategy team, a group focused on creating long-term growth and keeping Global Payments at the forefront of payments innovation. Working closely with product leaders, business teams, and senior leaders, you’ll turn insights into action and strategy into tangible results. This is an opportunity to learn from some of the best minds in the industry while gaining exposure to high-impact initiatives across a global organization.
In this role, you’ll shape strategic priorities that drive business growth, influence key investment and partnership decisions, and create new opportunities for merchants worldwide. What you’ll own
Drive strategic initiatives that unlock new growth opportunities and strengthen Global Payments’ competitive position in the payments and financial technology industry.
Shape merchant propositions across key segments, creating differentiated solutions that deliver greater value for clients and accelerate business performance.
Lead high-profile projects with product implications, turning strategic ideas into measurable outcomes that drive innovation and growth.
Influence Global Payments’ mergers and acquisitions strategy by identifying opportunities that expand capabilities, enter new markets, and create long-term value.
Identify emerging market trends, client needs, and industry shifts, transforming insights into actionable strategies that position the business for future success.
Create compelling recommendations and executive-level materials that inform decision-making and guide strategic priorities with senior leaders and the Board.
Build strong relationships across business functions and external partners to align teams, accelerate execution, and maximize impact.
Champion innovation by evaluating new products, partnerships, and business models that help shape the future of payments and commerce.
What you bring
2 to 4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a strategy-focused role within a financial institution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience developing strategic recommendations and translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.
A passion for innovation and a strong interest in payments, financial technology, and emerging products.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build credibility across a complex organization.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage and collaborate with senior leaders.
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
