The Hospital Services Technician travels between healthcare facilities to proactively collect and exchange various waste containers, including sharps and pharmaceutical waste. They are responsible for maintaining a rigid service schedule and interacting professionally with onsite customer staff.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and the ability to comply with all mandatory customer immunization requirements. At least 2 years of industry-related customer service experience is preferred, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying.
I. Job Summary
Under management direction, a Hospital Services Worker travels between customer healthcare facilities providing on-site proactive collection and exchange of waste containers for various WM Healthcare Solutions (WMHS) programs, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. This service is provided at regularly scheduled intervals for assigned facilities.

☒ Field: This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.
This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‑employment screening, post‑incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
Pay- The expected base pay for this hybrid position is $19 an hour. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
