The Patient Service Representative manages the patient check-in process, verifies insurance information, and handles medical records filing. They are also responsible for operating a multi-line phone system, collecting payments, and scheduling appointments.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of recent medical office experience. Proficiency in basic computer functions and the ability to type at least 40 wpm are preferred.

Summary
The Patient Service Representative is responsible for the patient check-in process, updating computer patient personal information and insurance information, handling a multi-line phone system, medical records filing and maintenance, and collection of co-pays and cash payments.
