The Bather is responsible for performing bathing services for pets while ensuring their safety and well-being. They also engage with pet parents to provide education on products and services while maintaining the cleanliness of the grooming area.
Candidates should have customer service or retail experience, preferably within the pet industry. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a willingness to learn grooming standards and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

The general duties of a Pet Pros Bather, include but are not limited to:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items and/or pets up to and over 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Requirements
General: Customer/Guest service and retail experience, preferably in the pet industry. Knowledge of pet related products. Willingness to learn all aspects of pet grooming.
Working Environment: This job operates in a retail environment with merchandise displays and inventory items available for purchase.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a variable hour position, days and hours of work will vary. This position requires the flexibility to work within our normal store operating hours, including before and/or after hours and weekends. Overtime may be required at times.
Travel: Occasional travel to other stores, meetings and events, at times before or after hours, is expected with this position.
Required Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED
