The Partnerships Manager will own and grow relationships across private equity, consulting, and cloud marketplace channels to drive partner-sourced pipeline. They will lead quarterly business reviews, execute account mapping, and manage partner enablement to ensure consistent growth and engagement.
Requirements
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, or partner-facing sales, preferably within B2B SaaS or HR tech. Strong analytical skills, CRM proficiency, and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
Full job description
About the Role
We’re looking for a Partnerships Manager to own and grow Cascade’s partner relationships across three key partner motions: private equity partners, benefits and HR consulting partners, and cloud marketplaces, including Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on deepening the partnerships we already have, expanding the number of producers and partner accounts actively working with Cascade, and creating a more repeatable partner-sourced pipeline motion.
You’ll be the face of Cascade to our partners - running the cadence that keeps relationships healthy, including QBRs, reporting, joint planning, and account mapping, while building the trust and day-to-day engagement that turns partner interest into real opportunities.
The right person is equal parts relationship-builder and operator: strong with people, highly organized, comfortable managing many relationships at once, and motivated by building something that can become a meaningful growth engine for Cascade.
What You’ll Do
Own partner relationships across PE, consulting, and cloud marketplaces. Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for partners in each motion, understand their priorities, and align Cascade’s value to what matters most to them.
Tailor your approach across portfolio adoption plays with private equity sponsors, producer-led referral motions with consulting firms, and co-sell and transaction motions through Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud marketplaces.
Run QBRs and keep partners informed. Plan and lead quarterly business reviews with key partners. Track joint pipeline, referrals, wins, shared accounts, and goals, and communicate progress clearly and consistently.
Turn data into a story partners care about and can act on.
Expand relationships with individual producers across consulting organizations. Go beyond the top-ofhouse relationship and build trust with the producers and consultants who recommend solutions to clients. Run account mapping sessions to identify shared accounts and warm paths in, and keep producers educated, engaged, and confident in how to position Cascade.
Grow the number of producers and accounts actively working with Cascade. Recruit and activate new producers within existing consulting partners, bring new partner accounts into the program, and steadily expand the footprint of partner-sourced pipeline. You’ll own growth across both breadth - more producers and partners - and depth - more activity per relationship.
Drive partner enablement and momentum. Create interest and consistency through partner enablement, including trainings, demos, co-marketing, joint events, and regular touchpoints. Equip partners with what they need to talk about Cascade confidently and accurately.
Work cross-functionally to close the loop. Partner closely with Cascade’s sales and marketing teams to convert partner-sourced interest into pipeline, track activity in the CRM, and report on what’s working so we can double down.
Success in the First Year
In your first year, success will be measured by your ability to build a repeatable partner motion that creates real momentum for Cascade. That includes deepening relationships with existing partners, activating more individual producers and consultants, running effective account mapping and QBRs, generating qualified partner referrals, and creating clear visibility into partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.
You’ll help build the foundation for partnerships to become a meaningful growth channel: the operating cadence, partner engagement, enablement, reporting, and repeatable motions that allow strong partner relationships to turn into real opportunities.
What we're looking for
4+ years in channel, partnerships, alliances, or partner-facing sales, ideally in B2B SaaS, HR tech, benefits, or insurance.
A track record of building and maintaining relationships, including with senior stakeholders, and turning those relationships into measurable business results.
Experience running QBRs, joint planning, partner reporting, and communicating results to multiple audiences.
Comfort with account mapping and working a partner ecosystem to surface shared accounts, warm introductions, and referrals.
Strong communication, presentation, and enablement skills. You can run a demo, lead a training, and energize a room, whether virtual or in person.
An organized, self-directed operating style. You can keep many relationships warm at once and thrive with minimal oversight in a small, fast-moving team.
CRM fluency, ideally Salesforce or a similar system, and discipline around pipeline tracking and reporting.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to produce your own metrics and reports, including writing and running SQL to generate business intelligence reports for partners rather than waiting on another team for the data.
Willingness to travel to meet partners as needed.
Nice to have
Familiarity with benefits, HR, or insurance distribution, including what a benefits consultant does day to day.
Experience working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Experience with cloud marketplaces, particularly Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud marketplaces and co-sell motions.
Early-stage or greenfield experience building a partner motion from the ground up.
You'll thrive here if
You love being the person partners want to pick up the phone for.
You’re motivated by seeing a partner ecosystem grow because of relationships you built.
You’re comfortable with ambiguity and excited to put your mark on something early.
You care about doing right by partners and customers, not just closing the next deal.
You like the mix of relationship-building, operating cadence, account mapping, and commercial execution.
Why this role matters
The chance to own and shape a core growth motion at an early-stage company. A mission that matters: making the hardest parts of work easier for real people.
Competitive salary, meaningful equity, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
Flexible PTO and an in-person team culture, four days a week in the office.
Cascade is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building an inclusive team.
