Requirements
Requires demonstrated experience in training and change management within large, complex organizations. Proficiency in procurement processes and project management methodologies is essential for success in this role.
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and its rich tradition but also fostered a sense of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
As a sourcing manager, Learning Transformation & Change Enablement, you will play a key role in helping Global Sourcing successfully adopt new processes, systems, technologies, and ways of working.
Success in this role requires thinking beyond training alone. You will help design and support the end-to-end partner adoption experience, ensuring partners are informed, prepared, equipped, and supported throughout the change journey. Working across sourcing and cross-functional teams, you will help create the conditions that enable successful implementation, sustainable adoption, and improved organizational effectiveness.
We are specifically seeking a candidate with demonstrated training and change management experience in large, complex organizations. This role will focus on supporting the sourcing organization through innovation and transformation initiatives that impact day-to-day ways of working, including training development, change adoption, stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and enablement activities.
As a Sourcing Manager, Learning Transformation & Change Enablement, you will...
Lead and support change management efforts by developing and executing strategies that drive readiness, engagement, adoption, and sustainment for sourcing transformation initiatives.
Partner with sourcing leaders, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to assess impacts, identify risks, and develop implementation approaches that support successful business outcomes.
Develop and deliver learning and enablement solutions that build partner capability and support new tools, processes, systems, and ways of working.
Define, track, and report on change adoption, learning effectiveness, partner readiness, and business outcome metrics; use data and insights to evaluate program success, identify risks, and inform continuous improvement strategies.
Create and execute communication, stakeholder engagement, and adoption plans that help partners understand, prepare for, and embrace change.
Conduct stakeholder, organizational, process, and technology impact assessments to inform change and learning strategies.
Coordinate learning deployment activities, including learner access, enrollment, reporting, completion tracking, and overall partner experience.
Equip leaders with tools, resources, and reinforcement strategies that support ongoing adoption and behavior change.
Measure adoption, engagement, learning effectiveness, and business outcomes, using insights to continuously improve implementation strategies and partner experiences.
Contribute to the continuous evolution of change management, learning, and transformation practices across the Global Sourcing organization.
We'd Love to Hear from People With:
Working knowledge of procurement and sourcing processes, including sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, risk management, market analysis,
RFX processes, should-cost models, and standard contracting principles.
Experience supporting organizational change, business transformation, process improvement, technology implementations, or large-scale adoption initiatives.
Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify issues, assess impacts, and develop practical solutions.
Effective use of project management tools and methodologies, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships across peer groups, leadership levels, and cross-functional teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development, executive communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Experience designing and delivering learning, enablement, or capability-building solutions.
Demonstrated emotional intelligence, adaptability, resilience, and comfort navigating ambiguity and change.
Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and external benchmarking.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications, Education, or a related field.
Experience supporting sourcing, procurement, supply chain, operations, or related business functions.
Experience leading or supporting business transformation, organizational change, or technology implementation initiatives.
Experience deploying learning solutions through a Learning Management System (LMS) and managing the end-to-end learner experience.
Experience developing executive communications, stakeholder engagement strategies, and adoption plans.
Knowledge of change management methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, CCMP, ISO 9001, ISO 56002, or equivalent; certification preferred.
