The Capability Expert is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving global financial accounting processes within the General Ledger area. They act as a lead for financial processes, coordinating with global stakeholders to ensure aligned standards and effective internal control frameworks.
Candidates must hold a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or Economics and possess at least 2 years of experience in a global process steering team. Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and experience in financial accounting process leadership are essential.

The purpose of this position is to cover a specific area of the Global Expert Hub within GBS Gdansk for Financial Accounting – General Ledger and to take responsibility for monitoring, analysis, knowledge management, continuous improvement activities, and enforcement of global processes. The role also acts as an extended workbench for the Global Process Owner organization and the Consolidation department.
