Manage, plan, and provide design oversight for water and wastewater projects while leading technical tasks and project teams. Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and at least 16 years of progressive experience in water and wastewater systems. A P.E. license in the Commonwealth of Virginia is mandatory or must be obtainable within six months.
We are currently seeking an experienced Water/wastewater engineer to join our team in our Newport News, VA location. The successful candidate is expected to be able to independently work on technical tasks with minimum supervision, lead and coordinate technical tasks and, when appropriate, serve as the project design lead. The successful candidate is also expected to support the preparation of technical proposals in particular the development of technical approaches. Successful candidate should demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as presentation skills, and the ability to mentor and train younger engineering staff.

The expected compensation range for this position is $160,000.00 - $240,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
