The Designer II-Electrical is responsible for developing 2D and 3D drawings and checking the work produced by CAD Drafters and Designer I staff. They also provide technical guidance, training, and support to cross-functional design teams and production personnel.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree in CAD preferred, and 3 to 6 years of shipyard design or construction experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and the ability to interpret complex technical diagrams are essential.

Possess a good understanding of design in any of the following areas:
Able to interpret system schematics, structural key plans, compartment arrangements, and electrical diagrams to create 3D CAD models.
