The Facilities Project Manager leads capital projects from initial assessment through construction and closeout while fostering continuous improvement in departmental processes. They serve as a liaison between college leadership, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering. A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience managing public-sector capital projects using formal procurement processes is required.
Compensation: $77,556.00
The Facilities Project Manager provides leadership for Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) projects and operational initiatives from initial assessment through planning, procurement, design, construction, occupancy, and project closeout. In addition to managing capital projects, this position is expected to bring a continuous improvement mindset to the work of the department. The Facilities Project Manager collaborates with colleagues to identify opportunities to strengthen processes, enhance project management practices, improve documentation, and recommend solutions that increase efficiency, consistency, and the overall effectiveness of project delivery.
