The engineer will lead the development of controls software, system architectures, and commissioning documentation from concept through operations.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a technical field and over 7 years of controls engineering experience, including 3+ years in mission-critical environments. Proficiency in PLC platforms like Rockwell and Siemens, as well as AutoCAD and EPLAN, is required.
The Senior Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and optimization of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) supporting Fleet Data Centers' hyperscale campuses. This role provides technical leadership across mechanical and electrical controls infrastructure, including central utility plants, generators, fuel systems, chilled water systems, CDUs, and power monitoring systems.
The successful candidate will support projects from concept through commissioning and operations, developing scalable controls architectures, PLC programming, system integration strategies, and operational standards that ensure reliable, efficient, and sustainable data center operations. Working closely with engineering, construction, commissioning, vendors, and operations teams, this individual will help establish Fleet's controls standards and drive continuous improvement across its growing portfolio of mission-critical facilities
Expected Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 Base Salary + Discretionary Bonus
