Lead the New York Labor Law and Commercial General Liability adjusting team while balancing management duties with hands-on claims handling. Responsible for onboarding, coaching, reporting metrics to clients, and implementing best practices for claim investigation and settlement.
Requires 7+ years of high-exposure commercial general liability claims experience and 2+ years of leadership experience. An active adjuster license is mandatory.
We're standing up a dedicated claims pod for an account and we need someone to lead it. You'll run a small team of General Liability adjusters, own the health of the account, and be the person the client and your team both lean on.
This is a player-coach role, not a pure administrator. You'll still be close to the claims, reviewing tough files, weighing in on reserves and strategy, and jumping on the hardest exposures yourself. This while developing the adjusters around you and owning how the pod performs. If you've wanted the authority to actually shape how a book of business gets handled, this is that seat.
You'll also help build a tech-driven claims org from the ground up. You won't inherit a rigid playbook, you'll help write it.
This is one of two roles we're hiring for this account. We're also hiring General Liability Adjusters for the pod you'd lead — happy to talk through both.
